About Us

Mark Hovind is the President of Turnaround Technologies, Inc., an Auburn WA consulting company. One of his specialties (and passion) is recession-proof solutions. He's been interviewed by CNN, the WSJ, and dozens of newspapers and radio stations across America for his work in recession-proofing.

Mark has an operations background at the executive level, teaches the college course Operations Management, and teaches a CEO 101 course for small businesses.

After graduating in Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1974, Mark worked his way up through the ranks from a staff engineer to VP, Director, GM, COO and CEO. He's helped small companies and large, including Transamerica, Delco Electronics and Aramco in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He's managed 350 employees, a $700 million budget and helped take two companies public. He's also served on the Governor's task force for the state equivalent of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
